Preparatory Program: Dress Code

Regulation
attire is enforced.
Hair must be pulled back in a bun and neatly secured for
all ballet classes.
NO jewelry may be worn during class.
All attire may be
acquired at Dancewear
Center.

Ballet VI-B

Ballet VII

Boys
White t-shirt or dance shirt, black leggings or tights, white socks and ballet shoes (black OK)
Pas de Deux/Contemporary/Men's Class
Girls: class leotard, ballet skirt, pink tights and pointe shoes
Boys: white t-shirt or dance shirt, black leggings or tights, white socks and ballet shoes (black OK)
Tap Dance
Girls: class leotard or black t-shirt, black jazz pants, white socks and black oxford-style tap shoes
Boys: black t-shirt and jazz pants, white socks and black oxford-style tap shoes
Character Dance
Girls: class leotard, pink tights, black character skirt and character shoes
Level I: short skirt and flat ½-inch heels
Level III: longer skirt and 1-inch heels
Level V: longer skirt and 1¼-inch heels
Boys: white t-shirt, black tights or leggings, white socks, black character shoes
Flamenco
Wear same clothing as Character. Flamenco skirts will be ordered after classes begin.
Jazz Dance/Theatre Dance
Girls: Class leotard or black t-shirt, black jazz pants and jazz shoes
Boys: Black t-shirt, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes
Modern Dance
Girls: Class leotard, pink tight with open foot, rolled up, bare feet
Boys: White shirt, black tights with open foot, bare feet
